Delete Your Account

You can delete your Song Cage account and all of its data at any time. There are two ways to do it: remove your account yourself inside the app, or send us a deletion request below and we'll take care of it for you.

Delete in the app (fastest)

If you can still sign in to Song Cage, the quickest way to remove your account is from inside the app:

  1. Open Song Cage and sign in.
  2. Tap your account avatar in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.

Your account and song data are removed from our systems right away. This action cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.

Request deletion (no app needed)

If you can't access the app, signed up on a device you no longer have, or simply prefer that we handle it, send us a deletion request. We verify ownership of the email address on the account, then permanently delete the account and its data.

Use the email address tied to the Song Cage account you want deleted.

Request received.

We'll confirm your request at the email you provided and complete the deletion within 30 days. You'll get a final confirmation once it's done.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data and content tied to it, including:

Copies in encrypted backups are purged on a rolling schedule shortly after deletion. We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself (and limited billing records where required by law) to meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your data, and we never use your song content to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How long it takes

In-app deletion is immediate. Email and form requests are completed within 30 days of verifying ownership of the account, and usually much sooner. If you change your mind, contact us before the deletion is finalized and we'll cancel the request.
